This policy explains what information goautocaraccessories.com (“this site”) processes, why, and for how long. The short version: this site has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies and no social media widgets.
What is processed when you visit?
Server logs. Like almost every website, the web server records basic technical details of each request:
- IP address
- date and time
- the page requested
- browser type (user agent)
- referring page
- response status
These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, for example to block abusive traffic and fix errors. They’re deleted automatically after 14 days.
Content delivery and security. This site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks and serves pages faster. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to do this. It may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors apart from automated attacks. No analytics or advertising. This site doesn’t use Google Analytics or any other analytics service, advertising networks, tracking pixels or affiliate tracking. No profile of you is built, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
What happens to contact form messages?
If you send a message through the contact form, the site stores:
- your name
- your email address
- the subject and message
- the date it was sent
These details are used only to read and answer your message. They aren’t used for marketing and aren’t shared with anyone else. Messages are deleted within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
Does the site use cookies?
Visitors who just read the site don’t get cookies from the site itself. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. The Cloudflare security cookie mentioned above may be set for all visitors. It’s strictly necessary and contains no tracking information.
What about links to other sites?
Guides link to manufacturers’ websites. When you follow a link, that website’s own privacy policy applies. This site doesn’t embed content from other websites.
What are your rights?
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data held about you
- have it corrected or deleted
- object to how it’s processed
To make a request, use the contact form. As this site only holds contact-form messages and short-lived server logs, most requests can be dealt with quickly.
How will changes be announced?
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
