GoAuto Car Accessories is an independent buying-guide site. Every guide is researched from manufacturers’ own pages, checked a second time before publishing, and published under the name GoAuto Editorial.
Who writes the guides?
The guides have no named author. They are published as GoAuto Editorial. Drafts are written with AI assistance and then checked against the rules on this page.
Where do the specifications come from?
Every specification comes from the manufacturer’s own product page, spec sheet or manual. Each guide lists those pages under Sources, with the date they were checked. If a manufacturer doesn’t publish a spec, the guide says “not stated” instead of guessing.
How are guides checked?
A separate fact-check pass compares every product claim with its source page before a guide is published. Claims that the source doesn’t support are corrected or removed.
What the guides don’t do
- No hands-on testing claims. The guides compare published specifications.
- No ratings, scores or awards.
- No prices, because they change too often to stay accurate.
- No ads, no affiliate links and no paid placements. No brand pays to appear in a guide.
How are guides kept up to date?
Guides are re-checked when manufacturers change their specifications. When a guide changes, its updated date changes too.
How to report an error
Use the contact form to report a spec that is wrong or out of date. Reports are checked against the manufacturer’s page. If a correction is needed, the guide is updated and its date changes.
